It would be nice if popular ones were shown first. I scrolled through many pages and only recognized about 1 in 100, despite having used Classic Mac OS a ton through the late 2000s.

Going from memory these are all pre OS8? Scrolling through I expected to see a massive change when OS8 hit but I don't think this ever gets there. My memory might be faulty, but I did recognize the various flavors of 7.x. Surprising to see how long the OS6 aesthetic kept on. It was fun to scroll through and all the memories. Surprising how strong of an effect these icons had on me.
Felt a little betrayed to see it used powershell scripts to make the website.

It would be a more useful reference if things such as "Icon Ideas" and "EDUCORP 8.0" could either be filtered out or were relegated to separate pages --- some sort of hierarchy would help a lot.

75,052 icons and no way to search any of it. All the data is in the img title attributes, so in-page search doesn't even work on the icons already downloaded.
Cool idea though.

It would be nice if each one had some links to it

Neat! I recently wrote a weather app for System 3.x using autc04/Retro68[1]. I've been planning to create an original set of weather icons, so this is exactly the kind of reference I was looking for.
Felt a little betrayed to see it used powershell scripts to make the website.
Cool idea though.

The icons are pretty, but can I get any additional info on mobile? Tapping an icon appears to copy the image filename.
ETA: on Firefox, I can long press and expand the hover text in the subsequent menu that pops up.
